Last night we started back our Wed. night services at 5pm and 7pm. We had a great time as we ate together with gladness of heart and learned from the Holy Word of God! Last Thursday night was the first service in the arena at Highland and it was awesome! This weekend with two services in the new arena there was almost 6k people that came out. Praise be to God! We started pathfinders at our 5:30pm service this past weekend and it went great. Scott spoke a great message and the worship team did an awesome job! I was able last week to go out with our widow’s team. We serve 60 widows each week bringing them a meal and simply showing them love. Parnell and Yvonne and their team and Tony and Cooking for Christ do such a good job! The Bible says to care for the widow is true religion and very pleasing to God! This was our final meeting for the building of a Chapel in our Ascension Parish Jail. I’m so excited about all that God is going to do through this Chapel. The Sheriff and his office are some of best law officers in the country! I thank God for them. We should break ground on this project within the next two months. Praise God! We had a great time together this past Friday and Saturday as we Rode horses in the snow at Brushy Creek Ranch. We enjoyed the snow so much. How many times in our life, living in LA, will we have the opportunity to be riding our horses in the snow? Below is our Blue Sushi class that started this past Sunday. Kim is doing such a great job with raising up young leaders in our church to impact the Kingdom of God! Many of the children from prior classes have become very involved in our church and are leading the way for others. I’m excited to see what God will do with this next 22 young leaders. Praise God for growth and harvest! With that comes a few challenges like parking. Last Wed. And at the 10am Sunday service I know it was difficult to find a parking spot so we made a few Ha! Ha! I was able to be at our refuge service at the new annex building last week (see below) Katie, Brad and team did a great job of worship and Scott did awesome in the sharing of the Word. Also our path finders were there full of passion with Chuck and Jessica leading the charge. I’m excited about what’s going to happen this year in those areas.
