HPC St. Amant One Year Anniversary/Fall Fest

Friday, October 31st, 2008

We had an awesome night this pass Wednesday night as we celebrated our one year anniversary as a campus and our fall fest. We had over 400 people show up and they came early. We quickly ran out of parking and had to literally fill up the 1 1/2 acres of land (we are purchasing) with cars. We ate well as the cooking for Christ team served it up and we had plenty of fun and fellowship. I want to thank Ps. David Wray and all the volunteers who did a great job putting this on. David and Scott even allowed the people to baptize them over and over in the dunking booth. All for Jesus on a cold LA night! Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Hard work made easy through hard workers

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

I was so blessed being able to be a part of transforming our St. Amant Campus Sanctuary from a 125 seat to 250 seat capacity last week. We were able to do this in six days! How is that possible? Because, the body of Christ took ownership in building God’s house. “It was an honor to be able to serve in the house of God,” said many volunteers. “It’s a good thing to adjust our lives for a few nights to build God’s kingdom,” others of us expressed. I have found through church life over the years that those who sweat together stay together! Thank all of you for working so hard out of a love for God’s house and God’s people. Missions Team Brainstorm

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

We had a great mission team meeting, beginning to plan for 2009. Dan, Claudia, Colleen, Kim and I were able to get a good idea of the budget, roles and responsibilities for each team member, a good start on the 2009 missions event and travel calendar. We also came up with a great name for HPC missions. “Servolution Global” Serving the world to reach the world with the hope thru Jesus Christ. We also had a great meeting with Go Global that was really encouraging as we saw how our hearts were beating the same passion. We are scheduled to do a few projects with Go Global in 2009. We know God is going to do great things. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

The Wall is down

Monday, October 13th, 2008

My wife and I just went by St. Amant Campus and you are looking at a picture with the wall removed. Wow! It’s so much bigger with the addition! We have a lot of finishing work to do within the next two weeks to be able to move in for our one year anniversary. God is so good this will allow our English and Spanish services to grow! Right now we have right at 550 people coming on our 4 weekend experiences (two spanish and two english). I want to thank Mr. Jerril who is doing a great job as our contractor and brother in the Lord! We will also be building another big room immediately for our children. I will keep you up to date on that as well. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Dream Center Flow

Friday, October 10th, 2008

I am at the Donaldsonville Dream Center on a Friday night for one of our HPC weekend experiences. Derek and Lori Smith along with a great staff of servants of Jesus are doing a great job with continuing to reach this community with the Gospel. They have a very cool green room. I think it’s the coolest one out of all our campuses. We had 14 people give their life to Christ tonight and all of them signed up to be baptized. It was exciting to see people who had given their lives to Jesus a few years ago still serving God today. May the people who gave their lives tonight be bond servants of Jesus. Church takes Commitment

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

I am at HPC St. Amant Campus and it is 9:15pm. The worship team is practicing so that they can give God their best when singing to the Lord and leading others to do the same. These are all volunteers that understand the importance of a little sacrifice to build God’s kingdom. These are the things that really matter in life. I thank God for people who sacrifice to build God’s kingdom and not just their own. May God bless every volunteer in the body of Christ who does what is required, give their life to Jesus and His purposes. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
