We are so excited to be launched as a church from HPC. Pastor Dino came and preached this weekend and by the direction and power of the Holy Spirit set The Church in St. Amant in place to continue to spread the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus) Christ. Well today we are pouring a 35′ by 40′ basketball court at the church. It is located in the play ground behind the church. We had a family that paid to do this project so we are so thankful for them. Bubba Richard and his team of servants from the church was able to serve a family by building a wheel chair ramp at their house. Helping those in need is also the mission Jesus gave us. We do it as a labor of love as unto Jesus and His people. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
We had such a great time with the Cook Off this past Sunday night. We had 10 people cook ribs, 10 baked beans, 10 strawberry short cakes and we also had CFC cook chicken for a nice 4th of July dinner and a service. We had 5 judges who really enjoyed their jobs! 1st place Ribs was Bryann Lipps, 1st place for Baked Beans was Ella Bourg and 1st place for strawberry short cake was Glenda Turner. At prayer this morning we had our summer internship praying with us. Wow! What an amazing time in the presence of God! I am so proud of all of them for seeking to go deeper with God. We had our first business owners luncheon for those owners in our church. We had a great time of fellowship. I feel very strong about really investing in these men and women as they do what God has called them to do. We have 51 business owners in our church. I had a great time at the Arc conference this week. They had some awesome speakers that brought the word of God! The conference is at the HPC arena which was an awesome place to host it.
